And while we have created an ever-growing number of resources to offer parts of this truth in various forms, the only proper way to communicate this is to show you.
And that is our intention with the immersive two-day experience we are hosting for women who are hearing the call to Radical Midwifery.
While your heart may already know whether or not this is a journey you wish to take, this experience will help align your heart and mind to choose the path that is right for you.
The Truth is Unknown to Most
Many of the actions the Radical Midwife does to achieve this are visible, but there is a vast inner journey that is also part of this path. That journey is understanding the version of yourself that you must become to support women in this way.
During this two-day immersion event, you will experience what all of this means and more. In the span of 48 hours, you will undergo...
While these are not always popular topics or ones you see front and center, they are actually “the work” that will clear the obstacles keeping the best version of you from showing up in the world.
Some of the items we will touch on during this event include…
- How to connect with your breath to stimulate internal transformation that will ripple through your entire life. If that sounds “over the top,” then you will truly want to experience the power of something most of us completely take for granted.
- Deconstructing your relationship to authority and rebuilding its structure to more appropriately align it with the TRUTH in your heart rather than your fear-based conditioning.
- Developing the skills to translate your inner desires into your external reality. These are not lessons we are taught in school for obvious reasons. If everyone knew how to do this, we’d be living in a completely different world.
- How to set boundaries, even if you have no confidence. Your reality is governed by your willingness to be YOU, out loud. “Boundaries” are what separate the real you from the not real you. Without them, you are infinitely controllable. With them, you are forever free.

- The Wise Woman Model of Care and how it provides a profound structure for serving women.
- The art and science of connecting with women and babies. It is the strength of this connection that will provide the foundation for your journey with each woman and her child.
- Birth videos, stories and midwifery lessons that need to be experienced and discussed for full integration into your being.
- What a “day in the life” of a Radical Midwife really looks like (we’ll walk you through ours!,) and what you need, not only to survive but to thrive.
- Understanding the metaphysics of midwifery and developing the skills and tools to navigate this world of the unseen.
- Hands-on practice of palpation as well as the art of “holding space.” If you want to better understand the transformation you can offer to women without “doing anything,” these are just a few of the skills you need.
- Developing absolute clarity on the journey that is apprenticeship. This mostly misunderstood ancient rite of passage is a profound offering with endless lessons should you have the eyes to receive its gifts.

**All registrants will be required to become Members of the Indie Birth Private Contract Association.
This event is not suitable for children or babies. We ask that you plan to come for the full two day experience ready to be fully present and without distraction. Thank you for understanding that while we love babies (we are midwives after all!) it is important that this space be a time for deep, uninterrupted reflection and learning.
